Pizza in the morning, pizza in the evening…

You know what I’m talkin’ about…when pizza’s on a bagel english muffin, you can have pizza anytime!

…Bueller?…Bueller? Alright, if your parents loved you and gave you real things to eat when you were a kid, check this out: Bagel Bites Commercial 1996 — 1996! Holy crap, the 90’s were not only great for its music, but also for its food. Bagel bites. Hot Pockets were in their prime. Ahhh…but I digress.

Going along with our “summer” (read: lazy) theme, here’s a classic meal that takes at the most, 30 minutes to prep and bake: English Muffin Pizza. It’s always a crowd (read: Alex) pleaser.

Plain English MuffinsEnglish Muffins with GarlicKeeping it simple, we used the basics (applied onto the english muffins in this order):

  • 6 english muffins (fed 3 people with room for dessert)
  • minced garlic
  • tomato/marinara sauce of your choice
  • mozzarella cheese
  • (mini!) pepperoni

Put all your toppings on the halves of your english muffins and pop them in your oven that was pre-heated to 350 degrees. Find something to do for 15-20 minutes and boom, dinner or lunch, or I guess breakfast too, if your heart so desires.

And yes! We brought back the mini pepperoni. You’ll recall we had our first experience with these bad boys in our popular Quinoa Pizza Bites. Really though, you know what they say…once you go mini pepperoni…
